What does each tour include?

Every tour is personally led by one of our knowledgeable tour guides and includes a tour notebook, your own all-day Metro pass, and the first round of beer, wine, or spirits at each bar. 

 

How long is each tour?

Every tour will run for approximately 4-5 hours. They will typically include an hour's stay at three to four locations, with an hour of total travel time by foot and train. Please note that every tour is unique and will include via public transportation though different parts of the city, therefore times are subject to change. 

 

Can I walk on to a tour?

You can! But please note you will be subject to an additional charge of $5. We highly recommend reserving your spot on a tour at least 24 hours prior to the tour date in question so the appropriate arrangements and reservations can be made for each group.

 

What should I do to prepare for my upcoming tour?

The climate of Los Angeles consists typically consists of warm sunny days and cool evenings, so comfortable shoes, layered clothing, hats, and sunscreen are recommended. Water bottles are also highly recommended since there will be will be alcohol and a fair amount of walking on each tour.

 

Will you serve food?

Unfortunately, we do not serve or cater food on our tours. However, there is at least one restaurant or gastropub stop built in to every tour and very light snacks related to each lesson plan will be provided.

 

Do you hold private tours and events?

Yes! We can make arrangements for large parties on each of our tours. We also offer special rail tours to the Orange County, Ventura, and Santa Barbara areas, and we cater private tasting courses for beer, wine, and spirits.
